Recipe

Ingredients
.5 kilo ground beef
portabella mushroom
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp pepper
1 tbsp parsley
1 tbsp butter
2 oak leaf greens
1 tomato
1 clove of garlic
1 shallot (or onion)
1 egg
slices swiss cheese
slices aged cheddar
sesame buns
Preparation
Step 1: Burger Patty
1. In a bowl combine ground beef, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley
2. To bind the patties, crack an egg and combine
3. Weigh out about 100 grams per patty
4. If you don’t have a patty press available, just shape the patties with your hand about an inch thick
Instructions
1. In a pan heat up about a tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil so the it doesn’t burn
2. Slice sesame buns with a serrated bread knife and toast in butter until golden brown
3. In the same pan, sauté a clove of minced garlic until fragrant, then add a quarter shallot diced
4. Add sliced portabella mushroom, a pinch of salt & pepper and sauté until tender
5. Slice tomato, and rinse off lettuce leaves
6. In a pan add a tablespoon of oil and lay your patty away from you to avoid burning yourself (not as shown in video)
7. After flipping your patty add a slice of cheddar and swiss cheese and allow it to melt (you may cover your pan and drop a bit of water and let the steam melt the cheese nicely)
8. For a quick sauce, add mayo, ketchup, minced pickle, salt and pepper
9. Build the burger to your liking- lettuce, tomato, patty on top of patty, mushrooms, and top bun with mayo
10. Serve with fries and a pickle
11. Enjoy with friends (serving 2-3 people)
